1. Starting quickly, going out quickly
In 2017, it seemed to be a trend on Japanese laptop market. Every giant personal computer manufacturer has its removeable screen laptop which was really make sense for many using case. Sadly, this impressive feature was absolutely died out and the only company do this until now is Microsoft with their surface series. But I mean that, it just can’t be compared with other older one from Japan because of lacking features in its dock. So why all of them give up to continue this work? Let me show you from my experience with Panasonic cf xz 6 in daily tasks.

2. Not only Panasonic, but also all of Japanese computer industries
To introduce, I would like tell you a little information about Panasonic’s laptop field. It’s clear that, a very little number of people know about the appearance of let’s note series which is a popular laptop brand in Japan. In other hand, it’s really lowkey in globe. Only focusing on domestic market is the main reason why in normally, it’s sharply hard to find a brand-new Panasonic’s laptop in everywhere this world except in this Asian country. But it’s not the own story of Panasonic, any office laptop brands from Japan are doing this same job. All of them release their products as same as other brands in this world, the biggest different here is these laptops are produced to fit with Japanese. I can suggest that, because the main profit of these mobile pc comes from domestic business who are really fancy about their country’s laptop.

3. The Reasons
Why? Cause that only domestic laptop brands have trustable privacy factor (if you know, you know, the laptop which was made in China has a considerable point about data protection), customable feature from camera, vga port to the software inside and supporting directly whenever there are any problems. In addition, Japan’s companies know it will extremely hard to force their devices to global market, they will have to rewrite all the developed language to fit with their future customers, market and build many official stores and spend a huge amount of money to maintain these systems. Continuing in a little one which has been built fully everything in needed is a great way to earn profit without any drawbacks. That’s all thing you should know before reading my review if you have never thought about Panasonic and other laptop from Japan.

II. Our main character today!

1. First feeling
Coming back with the xz 6 that I have just introduced it before, this one is totally a noticeable choice if you are looking for a used business laptop that have a touchable and even a removeable screen in just around 100 bucks. Let talk about the form factor and the outside of the laptop first, because these things are the easiest points that you can see by a first-look. The 12 inches laptop is slightly small but for a plug-and-play device, it is a sweet point for people who have to carry it from place to place. It means that the pc cost you a little amount of space in your backpack and having just 1.1 kg of weight makes this one even better on its duty – become as portable as available. Its shell was Built fully from aluminum and magnesium, as a result, it can work normally under many types of environments. It has a fact that this one can be drop from 76 cm height and gain pressure under 100 kgf without any problems. So, many engineers and outdoor worker in Japan who want a fitted laptop will purchase for this one.

2. "Why should I choose this? (instead of choosing the Microsoft's one)"
Now we’re going to the most special part of this device – the display that can be removed. Look at the hinge side of the laptop, you can see a slider and when you push this one, the screen will be unmounted directly. Holding the display in hand, I feel this one is considerably light compared to the surface go 2, which was released at the same time. It hard to understand this one it is just not a portable screen when inside it are all thing you need to run a normal windows pc. The thinness of the screen part is crazy, under 1 cm, and you have a mother board, a battery, a 2k display that’s touchable , a full-function office chipset intel core i5 7300u (the same as other business laptop and of course, better than any surface go’s CPU), a cooling fan (such an impressive thing while it was not appear in Microsoft’s tablet) an IR camera and even a LTE sim tray (in some models). All of them were put unexpectedly in a 12 inches supper thin device and around 0.5 kg of weight. If you could see these things I any other surface, make sure that the weight was double and included with big decrease in non-cooling and a “more power-efficient chip”.

3. Based on my experience
So in daily tasks, for me, this one has a fully good performance. In normal, I use it as a tablet, I have never tried an android tablet before so this one brings to me a new spirit. Windows can hold all web task for you without negative experience, scrolling my favorite newspaper like The Verge or The Guardian is absolutely smooth, watching video on Youtube is not always a good experience. Even if this “tablet” has a 2K resolution, the 3:2 ratio is just shaped for office and reading report tasks. Normally, when you watching videos which were usually generated in 16:9 ratio, 2 black sides will be displayed on the screen that’ll waste your appealing screen in some ways. The touchscreen is good enough for people who want control fully and easily on their own device. I have installed Bliss OS 16 and use the laptop as an android tablet, in some cases a few applications will crash when you touch them. But my main goal when I plug in this x-86 android is just for playing some soft games and XZ6 can hold these tasks without any issues.

4. About the screen's connection
The screen includes 3 interfaces, one of them is the super speed 3.1 usb type c that can be used to connect with 2nd display, charge for other devices, charge for the tablet and of course, exchange data with external storges. Another for charging only and the last one is audio jack.

5. The 2nd important part
If you want more ports, don’t worry, the keyboard part will help you. When I talk about “the keyboard part” it is not just a magnetic keyboard like surface series, it’s totally an extended battery, an external hub and a funky keyboard and trackpad too. Including 3 usb type A 3.0 which let you to transfer data quickly for many case of using, a full-function ethernet port, a HDMI, a full-size SD reader and even a VGA port (which I really respect). These huge number of ports bring a fully experience that you don’t need to buy a hub for your computer like others office laptop. Comparing to mobile pc nowadays, this one has any interfaces that you need on a business laptop. Many brand-new machines like XPS 13 which is just produced with 2 type c ports can’t be compared with this one. XZ6 gives me a full function port that I can’t use all of them (at the same time) it is also the reason why I immersive myself in Panasonic’ laptop.

6. daily using with shawty
The keyboard and trackpad are fitted with me, like I’m an Asian so I can use these things like any other Japanese people after a short time try to fully understand the pc. The travel of the key cabs is good, it is not really cool compared to ThinkPad but the range of the key was set scientifically which is easy to access and start to type. The circle track pad is the most impressive thing with the people who have never tried a Panasonic laptop before but when using the “wheel feature” which let you to scroll up and down a web or a document easily by moving your finger around the circle. Another thing that I really fancy about is the physical mouse buttons, I mean, it is quiet uncomfortable to use an under-mouse track pad so the physical one is an appealing choice. Last but not least, the dock also has a removeable battery inside, which can give you a chance to hot swap to a full changing one in some place that don’t have any whole to plug in and it’s also very easy to change to the new one that you don’t have to spend more money for the store for removing the old one.

Overall, Panasonic CF XZ6 is such a good deal that you shouldn’t ignore if you are finding the best p/p office laptop. I make sure that this one is better than any used thinkpad at the same price because of having a wide range premium feature. Remember that, this laptop was released from 2000 US dolars before so it is still good for learning, relaxing and soft office with a dominated screen quality compared to budget laptop nowadays. The choice is yours and this thing is a noticeable one that you should care about.
